I'm going to buy my first bjd on eluts.com [Delf YDER (White Skin)] but I wanted to know if it will be better to buy him w/ the makeup or not. They said they are going to raise the default makeup fee to $66. I don't know what the default makeup is...it said this on their notice board:

If you have some plans about custom face up, please make the order before that.
After July 28, if you choose make up option you can get only default face up on your doll.

So what is the difference between the custom face up and the default face up? and what will he look like if I didn't buy him with the faceup?

Sorry so many questions.. Sweatdrop

Yeeks! I can't believe they're raising their faceup charge to $66 it's way off the rest of the pack... hope this isn't a trend.  Sweatdrop

Let's see, the difference between a custom faceup and a default is that with the custom you get to choose what you want it to look like. For example, with luts you could send them a series of photos or a written description of the makeup you wanted and they would attempt to fullfill your request... the default makeup on the other hand is the exact faceup that you see in the photos (with a certain degree of variation since they are handpainted) .
If you choose not to get a faceup you will get a blank doll, without any makeup at all... for an example of what this looks like try looking up Yder's head in their parts sections.

Hope this helps.
