Also, to add to Rizu's lovely explanation of eyechips, the ones that come in stock Pullips are usually rubbery. The ones that you can buy to replace them (and which are usually made for Blythe dolls) are hard plastic (I think--they have to be hard enough to sand down to fit into Pullip eyes). Someone that has actually done a re-chipping is more than welcome to expand on or refute my explanation, of course.

The only eye replacements I've done are acrylic eye installations.
