If you are registering with a hotmail email address, please be aware that hotmail removes body text from the activation email for some reason (maybe due to links but no other email provider does this). Because of this, you won't be able to activate your forum account in a normal way. Please either reply to the email (it will be sent to me) or post your username in this forum/thread and we'll activate your account manually

I think that was me, I saw the multiple attempts and activated them  Trolling robots usually use different usernames!

I wondered how my account got activated lol. I tried to sign up with my hotmail account, then tried to use my aol account, but the email never actually arrived at that address. Hence the reason I signed up more than once *headdesk* sorry about that

Hotmail didn't even let me reply to the mail, so I switched to my "work e-mail" at Yahoo. I had to pick a slightly different username though.
My first attempts at registering were made under the username "BW"; you don't need to treat those applications. :)
